Support Network

No matter how hard we try, we can't do it alone. At MTW, we want to encourage you to build a strong network of people who can support you as you work towards your goals in life.

Step #1: define support

A support network is a group of people who can show up for you as things come up in life.

Key areas where supports come in are:

  1. Emotional Support

  2. Advice, Information, and Suggestions

  3. Access to Resources

  4. Support for your Wellbeing

Supports can either be short-term, associated with opportunities that happen briefly, or long-term, people who are in it for the long-haul.

Step #2: see an example

Watch the video to see how one person used one support to build an even wider support network.

Step #3: map it out

Use the Support Network Module to map out your current supports and identify supports you want to develop in your time at MTW.
